Personal Development offer and provides opportunities for students to nurture a sense of belonging and wider identity as well as take part in activities and competitions that enrich the curriculum. The house names have been chosen to further promote the attributes of character and values that we hold so dear.
Purpose
The house system is designed to encourage opportunities for competitive fun.
There will be half termly competitions which will be subject/academic based but also sporting/PE based….. Something for everyone.
A house leaderboard will be tracked throughout the year and there will be a prize at the end of the academic year for the winning house.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase and celebrate the vast skills and talents the students have at Ercall Wood.
The House System helps students get active. It’s great for social wellbeing and mental health.
Our House System supports your personal development and character growth. It encourages students to have a go at something new and unlock a future passion.
